Destiny 2- The Final Shape Patch Notes Are A Massive List Of Updates

Just ahead of Destiny 2: The Final Shape’s launch today, Bungie has released the patch notes for update 8.0.0.1. While that update number may make it sound like a smaller one, this is in fact the full set of changes coming as part of The Final Shape–and the number of tweaks is downright staggering. Numerous areas of the game have been touched, and while many of these changes have been previewed over the last few months, this is our best look yet at exactly how Destiny 2 will be changing, both in terms of the moment-to-moment action and some of the bigger-picture areas.

Exotic armor has been changed so that you can now upgrade it in a new way. Once it’s been fully masterworked, you can spend an Exotic Cipher and 10,000 glimmer to grant it an Artifice mod slot, letting you squeeze out an extra +3 to any stat you desire, which can be useful for rounding out your attributes. Many pieces of Exotic armor have also been tweaked, some to account for the incoming Exotic class items you’ll soon be able to unlock.

A variety of Exotic weapons and general weapon archetypes have seen changes, too, such as buffing the damage most pulse rifles (20%), f…

Stalker 2 Dev Admits It's "Rough Around The Edges," But Is "Committed" To Fixes

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is out now, but it seems players should expect a bumpy ride, as even its developer is warning that it is “rough around the edges.”

In a heartfelt message posted to social media, Ukrainian developer GSC Game World said the 15-years-later sequel, developed during Russia’s ongoing invasion, is a “love letter to Ukraine” and a “project of endless love and passion” from the team. However, GSC also didn’t sugar coat the state of the game at launch.

“Stalker 2 is a massive game,” GSC Game World said in its statement. “We understand that in such a game, there may still be rough edges: we literally haven’t released anything of this scale before.”

Numerous reviews, including GameSpot’s Stalker 2 review, took notice of the game’s technical problems, reporting numerous visual bugs and frequent crashes Come from malaysia online casino . GameSpot reviewer Richard Wakeling said the game’s “torrent of technical issues” ultimately hampers the game’s oppressive atmosphere. Ryan Reynolds Says Fans Hated Deadpool And Wolverine's Original Name

This weekend, Deadpool and Wolverine may have the biggest box office opening of the year. But would it have had the same impact if Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine had been left out of the title? We’ll never know, because Ryan Reynolds changed the name of Deadpool 3 thanks to the immediate backlash against it.

Reynolds and Jackman appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live as guest hosts, via Yahoo Movies UK. During the interview segment, Reynolds revealed that the original title was Deadpool and Friend, which was a cheeky way to acknowledge Wolverine without saying his name. But once fans got wind of the title, the response was almost universally negative.

“The title leaked,” recalled Reynolds. “We looked at it and listened, and they hated that title. We were not feeling so good about that anymore.”

According to Reynolds, he had to insist on changing the title before Marvel eventually agreed to do it. “We were like, ‘No, we’re changing the title, I will never call this movie Deadpool and Friend.’ And they did it, they did it. They really changed the title,” said Reynolds.

Among the reasons Marvel was reluctant to change the name is that the studio had already start…

CD Projekt Faces Another Class-Action Lawsuit Over Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the biggest games of the past few months, but the controversy surrounding the game continues to grow even a month after launch. Invisible, Inc. Console Edition Review

How amazing that a turn-based game can feel so urgent. In invisible, Inc., I have as much time as I need to position my agents just so, but I’m always paying attention to the security level at the top right of my screen. That meter tells you when security will be heightened during your heist, and it’s a vital part of what makes this stealth game worth the gray hairs it causes.

It’s tense and challenging, yes, but Invisible Inc. is also simple, elegant, and always logical. It introduces new concepts in a slow drip, giving you plenty of time to work out the details. The titular spy agency is violently infiltrated, initiating a time-sensitive series of global heists and sneakabouts, each of which you control from an isometric perspective in the style of strategy games like XCOM. You begin with a duo but steadily add imprisoned agents to your roster as you spring them from holding cells. Ultimately, you take up to four agents on missions, which typically involve obtaining sensitive data from a terminal, grabbing ill-gotten credits, and hightailing it out of there.

Of course, it’s rarely that simple. There is the draw of credits, for one, which…

Saints Row IV Review_1

After Saints Row: The Third, it was hard to imagine how this series of increasingly zany open-world crime games could possibly get any zanier. Rather than attempting to tackle that challenge head-on, Saints Row IV sidesteps it by being an almost completely different type of open-world game. Sure, the core of Saints Row is still there; there are still plenty of absurd weapons, costumes, and activities. But the way you interact with the world has changed. No longer are you an ordinary earthbound mortal. Saints Row IV turns you into a superhero capable of running up the sides of buildings and flinging people with your mind Come from Sports betting site VPbet . This isn’t a refined game or a challenging one, but it is a sometimes hilarious playground of a game that gives you plenty of fun abilities to use and plenty of opportunities to use them.

How does the game explain your new capacity for doing things like leaping tall buildings in a single bound and zapping enemies with freeze blasts? It’s simple. You saved the world from a terro…

Original Star Wars Solo Directors Talk About Dropping Out Of The Film

2018’s Star Wars movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story, changed directors midway through development, with Jump Street’s Phil Lord and Chris Miller parting ways with Lucasfilm over creative differences. Oscar-winning director Ron Howard came in to replace the pair and finish the film. Now, Lord and Miller have shed new light on their departure from the movie, saying there is no bad blood.

Appearing on the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast, Lord said he and Miller learned “so much” from working on the film, and nothing can take that away. While there were some “negative emotions” associated with the shift when it happened, Lord and Miller have since moved past it.

“We got to work with the greatest people, we made so many friends. We put what we call in animation ‘pencil miles’ under our belts and it made us better filmmakers in the long run,” Lord said (via GamesRadar). “So, in a funny way, there were some negative emotions associated with that, but the way I feel about it now, like I feel about all these projects, which is you’re just trying to become better and learn and collaborate with people and that doesn’t go away.”

Star Wars And Lion King Actor James Earl Jones Dies At 93

James Earl Jones, the legendary performer who gave Darth Vader his iconic voice, has passed away. Jones was 93 years old, and his career as an actor spanned seven decades. A cause of death hasn’t yet been publicly released, but Jones died at his home in Dutchess County, New York.

Jones was born on January 17, 1931 in Arkabutla, Mississippi. He was considered to be one of the greatest actors of his era, and he was also one of the few who have ever won the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony). During his long career, Jones earned two Emmy awards, a Grammy, and three Tony Awards as well as an honorary Academy Award in 2012.

Snag Hori's Excellent D-Pad Switch Controller For 15 Bucks

The Nintendo Switch’s Joy-Cons offer a lot of flexibility in how the system can be played, letting you use them while the switch is docked, in handheld mode, or even propped up on a flat surface. They can also function as a pair of controllers in local multiplayer. But since the Switch launched, there’s been one Joy-Con feature that has been a sore point for players, and no, we’re not talking about drift. The Switch’s Joy-Con controller lack a traditional D-pad and instead offer four directional buttons on the left-hand Joy-Con where the D-pad would be.

For those who prefer the feel of a traditional D-pad, which feels like a must for playing some of the classic SNES games on Switch like Super Mario World and Super Metroid, Hori offers a line of D-pad Switch controllers that simply replace the left Joy-Con on your system. Though they’re available in a variety of designs, there’s a rare deal on one particular version right now at Amazon–you can snag the Black & Gold Pikachu design that’s black with yellow lightning bolts for $15 right now, down from $25. We first covered this deal earlier this week when the controller fell to $20, and now you can snag i…

Skull And Bones Gameplay Reveal Coming This Thursday, Bigger Ubisoft Forward Event Scheduled For September

Ubisoft has announced two more presentations for the year, which will begin with a Skull And Bones showcase on July 7 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET and a Ubisoft Forward event in September.

For the Skull And Bones spotlight, Ubisoft explained on its blog that it will provide an in-depth look at the upcoming open-world multiplayer pirate game on its YouTube or Twitch. Set during the Golden Age of Piracy, it hasn’t been smooth sailing for Skull And Bones since it was first announced at E3 2017 and underwent numerous changes over the years. In April, a lengthy gameplay video emerged from a Skull And Bones technical test and the game has recently been rated by the ESRB, with one leaker claiming that it’ll be released in November.

For the September 10 event that kicks off at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET, Ubisoft says that fans can expect multiple game announcements. The company didn’t reveal more than that, but several of its in-development games are already public knowledge. Sony Reportedly Blocking Subscription Stacking Of PS Plus And PS Now Ahead Of Service Revamp

Sony has reportedly disabled PlayStation Plus pre-paid code redemption for existing subscribers ahead of the transition to the new tiered version of PlayStation Plus in June.

As reported by Eurogamer and PushSquare, some users are unable to redeem their prepaid PS Plus and PS Now subscription cards, presumably to stop users from locking in the new tiers of PS Plus at a cheaper price. In the FAQ for the new PS Plus, PlayStation states that users who are subscribed to both PS Plus and PS Now will be switched over to the highest tier, PS Plus Premium, when the transition is made. The length of the subscription will be based on whichever subscription is longer. Since the service was announced, users have begun stacking their subscriptions in anticipation of them being converted to the new service.

Silent Hill 2 Remake Will Have A "Brand-New, Reworked" Soundtrack, Konami Says

Silent Hill 2 composer Akira Yamaoka has announced that the remake’s soundtrack will be a “brand-new, reworked” experience. Yamaoka revealed the news to GameSpot and various press outlets during a recent preview event for the upcoming psychological horror game. The longtime composer went on to say that, while he understands that the original soundtrack is “beloved,” he ultimately wanted to ensure that all players would have a “fresh experience.”

“I have reworked all the tracks. There are segments and bits and pieces of the original tracks that you can hear, but all of the tracks have been reworked from the ground up. I understand that the soundtrack is very much beloved, but ultimately I composed over nine hours worth of music and I’m still wondering how in the world we are going to fit all of that into a soundtrack.”

Though this news might disappoint fans of the critically acclaimed soundtrack, rest assured that–based on our time spent with the Silent Hill 2 remake and some additional comments given by Yamaoka–it seems as if the soundtrack will remain very familiar. The composer explained that he both referenced and sampled tracks from the original score while com…
